What do you need today?

What do you need today?

What do you need at this moment, today?

What we need changes.

We may have a great set of wellbeing tools, but the toolkit may need updating as our lives and events around us shift.

How often do you pause to see how you are doing?

I had a great chat about this on my latest Instagram Live – as part of my Thrive Pod series.

Watch it back here.

I was joined by the wonderful Nicky Setter, a counsellor, coach and all round fab human.

We discussed the importance of regularly checking in with ourselves as the best way to sustain our wellbeing.

Nicky has built a morning practice where she does just this.

She dips into several different strategies to help her start her day with positive intention; including quick stretches, journaling and meditation.

I love this inspiring take - keeping it simple makes it feel a lot less daunting!

I am planning to start a light touch morning practice, I’ll experiment with what works and let you know how it goes!

How would a regular wellbeing practice look for you?

Mother’s Day

For the mothers and mothers to be – I hope you had a wonderful Mother’s Day.

It can be a sensitive time too for some, so I am also thinking of those who have experienced sadness or loss around being a parent or losing a parent…

Here is a lovely graphic that sums up some of these different experiences …
