Hi there
How is your week going?
It's Wimbledon season - I love the energy of the contenders facing each other in a battle of wills...what drives them to succeed I often wonder?
““...never giving up, resilience, persistence, fighting against the odds...””
Robert the Bruce was inspired watching the persistence of a spider spinning its web
Why does Judy Murray have a spider tattoo?
I heard a great interview with Judy Murray where she described why she has a large spider tattooed on her back:
"It's a throwback to the story of Robert the Bruce and the spider in the cave – it's about never giving up, resilience, persistence, fighting against the odds."
Gotta love that.
Persistence. Like the spider who spun her web, failed,
tried again, failed again and then finally succeeded.
Legend has it watching her at work inspired Robert the Bruce to courageous success in battle…
We all need a bit of inspiration to get us through the tougher challenges.
Judy is inspired by carrying this momento of persistence with her.
What do you need to be inspired to carry on when things get tough?
Get in touch to let me know your thoughts - I always love to hear from you.
Till next time,
Take Care
Katya
