Our Eco-Friendly Approach

We are committed to responding positively to the environmental crisis.

We can’t work well and thrive unless our planet does so too!

Tackling climate change and supporting biodiversity are intricately linked.

For example, tackling deforestation supports carbon trapping and provides homes for many species.

Here are the the Key Pillars of our Eco- Friendly Approach

  • Eco Friendly Travel

We work from home where possible

We walk, cycle, or use public transport where possible

  • Repair Reuse Recycle

We repair and reuse workplace equipment where possible

We use workplace equipment which is built to last, to reduce waste where possible

    We recycle!

  • Paper Light

We strive to reduce paper use

We limit printing paper documents unless essential

We use electronic means to communicate where possible

  • Cleaner Energy

We use renewable, environmentally friendly energy providers where possible

Our current energy providers plant a native tree each year for us in association with the Woodland Trust

  • Use Less Energy

We insulate our main workspace with wool - an environmentally sustainable material

(after hemp, wool consumes less energy and has a smaller carbon footprint than most other fines as sheep can be raised on non-arable land and where trees cannot grow.*)

  • We track our carbon footprint

We track our carbon footprint - you can too!

We like this one by the WWF - answer just a few multiple choice questions!

  • B CORP

We are on the journey towards becoming a B Corp; if you haven’t come across B Corp before, you can have a browse here.

  • We learn

We are committed to ongoing learning so we can continue to support our wonderful home planet

We aim to use reputable sources to learn from -

*Like this book - The Hidden Universe, Adventures in Biodiversity - which formed the backbone of our Eco-Friendly Approach.

It is written by an award winning professor of Biodiversity, who is the Director of Science at Kew Gardens , Alexandre Antionelli
