Soft Ears

Look how silky soft those ears are…

Using Gratitude to stay Grounded…

We have Covid in the house so it’s been full on recently which is why this Thrive Well Blog will be short and (hopefully) sweet…

I often teach about Gratitude.

There is a fair amount of evidence for its benefits.

This week I have been really…well…grateful…for keeping to my regular gratitude practice.

It has helped me stay grounded when things pile up.

(I just keep a pen and paper by the bed and write at least 3 things I am grateful for before turning out the light.

That’s it.

Felt a bit awkward when I started - but that soon wore off!)

Here are some things I am grateful for at present

 ·         Drinking hot tea from a stripy mug

·         Covid vaccines

·         Family

·         The silky softness of my dog’s ears

·         Friends

·         First snowdrops

·         The latest episode of ‘The Book of Boba Fett’ (I love Star Wars; except the middle 3 films - obvs…)

·         FaceTime

·         Kale Crips (they really do taste a whole lot better than they sound…)

·         Sand Timers for work (more on this in future blogs)

·         Reading an actual book

·         Podcasts

·         Revisiting ‘The Chimp Paradox’ by Dr Steve Peters

What about you? I’d love to hear what’s on your list – email me to let me know.
