Your Invitation for 2023

My New Year's resolution this year?

...is to have none.

How are you feeling about 2023?

That expectation to have a list of New Years resolutions, start your gym membership and feel euphoric from the stroke of midnight on New Year's Eve can feel a bit unrealistic.

How about a new approach to the New Year?

An invitation to pause and reflect.

Give ourselves the gift of space.

I find myself reconnecting with this energy whenever I write.

It can be even more magical when we write with others.

Solo or in company, creative writing provides an opportunity to step back from the hurly burly and write for ourselves.

A few words. Half a page. A letter.

Allowing ourselves this space helps connect with ideas that may otherwise get overlooked.

How about sitting down with a pen and paper for 2 minutes and just writing?

See what arises as your pen moves.

Let me know how you get on.
