What Does Success Mean to You?

Well hello there, how is your week going? I twisted my ankle so it's been slow going this end!

What does Success look like to you?

I have run some training workshops for trainee and post CCT medics recently focusing on Success; and we have had some lively, fun conversations!

We have explored -

"What does success mean to you?"

The answer is different for each of us.

It can be helpful to notice that our concept of success drives us and the choices we make.

Pursuing success can be a great motivator and help us make progress.

The key is to notice - is it driving us to make progress in the right direction?

Western workplace culture often uses financial gain or accruing qualifications as markers of success. Don't get me wrong, these are definitely important - to an extent.

Sometimes we can chase these external signs of success, and be so busy in the pursuit, we don't pause to check in and ask - is this actually making me happy?
