Why does Judy Murray have a spider tattoo?
I heard a great interview with Judy Murray where she described why she has a large spider tattooed on her back:
"It's a throwback to the story of Robert the Bruce and the spider in the cave – it's about never giving up, resilience, persistence, fighting against the odds."
Gotta love that.
Persistence. Like the spider who spun her web, failed,
tried again, failed again and then finally succeeded.
Legend has it watching her at work inspired Robert the Bruce to courageous success in battle…
We all need a bit of inspiration to get us through the tougher challenges.
Judy is inspired by carrying this momento of persistence with her.
